Don’t be sad when ordinary men reject, undermine or fail to see your potentials, after all not everyone can recognize gold in its raw form when they see one. So, it’s either they don’t know your value or they don’t have what it takes to maximize what you carry.
When our Lord Jesus Christ was to be born, the inn (hospital or clinic) manager rejected the mother and directed them to the manger because they don’t know the potential that the child to be born carry. This was a child to whom angels bow, a child from and for whom all things were created. Yet, because they couldn’t see His glory and potential, they rejected Him.
Luke 2:7 NKJV says
And she brought forth her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling cloths, and laid Him in a manger, BECAUSE THERE WAS NO ROOM FOR THEM IN THE INN.
Ironically, other babies who were born in the inn on the same day and because of whom Jesus was born in the inn where all eventually killed by king Herod (Mathew 2:16). But only the child, Jesus who was born in the manger survived. The child who was born in the manger now becomes an everlasting king to whom all knees bow. What a God we serve!
These all explain why you shouldn’t allow people’s rejection of you to bother you, especially when you know you’ve met every criteria. Was your application or proposal rejected? Or were you told there was no place for you? Don’t worry because God is about to create a place for you at the top. And by the time you’re up there, those who look down on you now will look up to you. Hallelujah!
