In a world where uncertainties, inflation, war, hunger, scarcity, etc. are becoming the order of the day, sustaining peace has also become challenging. However, despite all these, God has a promise of perfect peace to those whose mind is stayed on Him and who also put their trust in Him.
As uncertainties grow, and both old and young faints and becomes weary, it takes a certain amount of strength to be at peace and not complain. But that strength can only be gotten from God alone, and is only accessible by those whose mind, hope, trust and confidence stays in God.
Isaiah 26:3–4 NKJV says
[3] You will keep him in PERFECT PEACE, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You. [4] Trust in the Lord forever, For in YAH, the Lord, is EVERLASTING STRENGTH.
Everlasting strength is a strength that is not affected by inflation, uncertainties, etc. and such can only be secured from God by those who are not running Helter skelter in search of help outside God; those who truly believes God is capable of taking care of them; those who keep seeking guidance and help from Him; those who against all odds keep loving and reverencing Him.
We may not be able to prevent or stop some of these global challenges especially as the end draws near, but we can keep drawing everlasting strength from God and enjoy perfect peace if we fix our minds on Him.
