Every storm or wind comes to test our faith, and the moment we either pass or fail the test, the storm stops (Mathew 14:32). Despite economic challenges, you can still eat and live in abundance and be satisfied if you look up to God through Jesus and don’t doubt.
Matthew 14:30–31 NLT
But when he saw the strong wind and the waves, he was terrified and began to sink. “Save me, Lord!” he shouted. Jesus immediately reached out and grabbed him. “You have so little faith,” Jesus said. “Why did you doubt me?”
Notice that Jesus didn’t rebuke the storm for raging, nor the wind for blowing. But He rebuked Peter for doubting Him. Why? Because Jesus Himself saw the wind, but He walked on water despite the threat of the wind and the storm. So, He expected Peter’s faith to be stronger than his fear for the storm.
In the same way, you may also not be able to stop the economic storm or wind, but you can have your needs met despite it; you can live debt free and be at peace; you can enjoy your home and be in health; All you need do is to fix your eyes on Jesus and don’t doubt. Let your faith in God be stronger than your fear for the storm.
You will not fail in Jesus name.
