O Lord, restore my lost glory (part 2)

Last week, I explained that;

Every one of us is created for God’s glory irrespective of whether you manifest that glory or not (1 Corinthians 15:39-41; Genesis 1:26-28).
God desires that everything we do radiates His Glory (2Corinthians 4:15; Mathew 5:16).
Glory can be lost via sin and disobedience (Romans 3:23).
Glory can be restored or recovered (John 17:22; Romans 8:30).

Today, I’ll like to shed light on additional two ways through which glory can be lost and they are;

ROBBERY (Ecclesiastes 10:7; Isaiah 42:22): Many lives and destinies have been robbed of their glory without knowing.
IGNORANCE (Isaiah 5:13-14): Ignorance of the glory you came into the world with, the level God wants you to get to and the exploits he intends to do with your life are parts of the reasons many person loose that glory. If you know who you’re and the grace available for you to walk into, there are some things you won’t do even at gun point.

EFFECTS OF ABSENCE OF GLORY

Struggling for survival (1 Chronicles 4:10).
Such person is spiritually imprisoned and his/her virtues, gifts, talents, skills of such individual are rendered useless and unprofitable (Isaiah 42:22).
Such person will be controlled by the enemy (Judges 16:20-24).
Such person is blinded from doing the right thing or taking the right steps (2 Corinthians 4:3-4).
Stagnation is a sign of absence of glory (Isaiah 42:22).

MEDIUM THROUGH WHICH PEOPLE LOSE THEIR GLORY

Idolatry (Psalms 106:19-21)
Sexual immorality – ask Samson (Judges 16:1, 20-24)
Drunkenness (Habakkuk 2:15-16)
Worldliness (Psalms 4:2)
Covetousness (Genesis 25:29-34)

FEW OF THE FOLLOWING HAPPENS WHEN GLORY IS RESTORED

People begin to notice and appreciates your gifts, skills and talents and those who can sufficiently pay for them will begin to find you (Isaiah 60:3-4).
People across the globe will begin to bless you with wealth and riches (Isaiah 60:5).
People whom you don’t know will begin to do things for you (Isaiah 60:10).
