12 reasons why the enemy doesn’t want you to be devoted to God’s word

Amongst the many battle everyone of us will fight in life, our devotion to God’s word is among the first three. Satan and His agents will put up all kinds of obstacles, discouragement and distractions to stop you from growing in God’s word or to stop the word from growing in you because they know that:

1. Your Priesthood depends on it (Hosea 4:6)
2. Your success depend on it (Joshua 1:8; Psalms 1:1-5):
3. Your level of Glory depends on it (2 Corinthians 3:18).
4. Your ability to think right depend on it (John 5:39).
5. The amount of life you carry depends on it (John 6:63).
6. The level of wisdom you’re able to access and operate in depend on it (2 Tim 3:15; Proverbs 2:6).
7. Your salvation, spiritual growth and access to your inheritance depends on it (Acts 20:32, Galatians 4:1-2; Job 22:21-29).
8. Your ability to avoid destiny mistakes and error depends on the level of the word that you know (Mathew 22:23-29).
9. You can’t affect your environment until you’re filled with the word (Mathew 12:34-35; John 7:37-38).
10. The vision for your life is hidden in the word (Prov 29:18; Isaiah 5:13).
11. The word keep you from sin (Psalms 119:11; Job 22:23).
12. The word open your spiritual ears and empowers your ear to pick spiritual signals (Isaiah 30:21; Rom 8:14).

You and I are helpless without the word of God. It’s what we’re made of and it’s what will sustain us on earth. So, know you are under serious attack whenever you find it hard to study God’s word. You will not be a victim in Jesus name.
