Unforgiveness is the primary hindrance to many persons blessings without them knowing. God may forgive you of others sins, but no justification can make Him overlook your unforgiveness. Until you forgive whosoever you are holding in your heart, God will never forgive you nor answer your prayer as well.
You can cry, pray, fast, give, and apply all the kingdom mystery that you know but your situations will remain the same if you refuse to forgive people truly from your heart. No kingdom mystery can make God overlook your unforgiveness because His words cannot be broken.
Matthew 18:33-35 NLT says
[33] Shouldn’t you have mercy on your fellow servant, just as I had mercy on you?’ [34] Then the angry king sent the man to prison to be tortured until he had paid his entire debt. [35] “That’s what my heavenly Father will do to you if you refuse to forgive your brothers and sisters from your heart.”
When we fail to forgive others, we automatically lock the door of mercy against ourselves. And when mercy is absent, no amount of begging, fasting, crying or giving will cause God to change His mind. This means in reality, we benefit more when we forgive others.
Therefore, you need to forgive whosoever you’re holding in your heart today. Be it your husband or wife, parents or children, your colleague or neighbor, business partners, staff or boss, no matter what they have done to you and no matter what had happened. Remember, you aren’t perfect as well and so yet God forgave you. So, you need to forgive them from your heart so that the door of mercy can be open to you as well.
