BREAK OFF THAT SIEGE UPON YOUR LIFE

We live in a wicked world (Psalm 74:20), a world filled with wicked forces of darkness that are out to stop you from advancing. One of the ways through which these forces seek to hinder your progress in life is by placing siege on your life.

WHAT ARE SPIRITUAL SIEGE ?
These are limitations or embargo or restrictions placed on the life of a man from making progress beyond a certain level. When a siege is placed upon someone’s life, no matter how skilled, intelligent, hardworking, and faithful such person is, he won’t rise beyond a certain limit.

1. A person under a siege can’t experience promotion at work; can’t experience any new development in his/her marriage; may experience recurring affliction or oppression.
2. A person under a siege may even be experiencing progress at a point, but once he/she hits that limit, a decline begins.
3. When a siege is in force, lack and wants becomes the order of the day and prosperity becomes impossible.
4. Someone under a siege will experience continuous rising and falling.
5. Siege keeps a person stagnated at a position until there’s a breaking forth.
6. Siege keeps a person from lifting up his/her head and rising to a place of stardom.
7. When a siege is placed on a family, nobody in that family rises beyond a certain limit.

In Zechariah 1:17, God made a proclamation to prosper Zion saying “Cry yet, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; My cities through prosperity shall yet be spread abroad; and the LORD shall yet comfort Zion, and shall yet choose Jerusalem“. But for this to come to pass, the limitations that has been scattering the inhabitant of the land from lifting up their heads needed to be destroyed.

Zechariah 1:18-21
Then lifted I up mine eyes, and saw, and behold four horns. And I said unto the angel that talked with me, What be these? And he answered me, These are the horns which have scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem. And the LORD shewed me four carpenters. Then said I, What come these to do? And he spake, saying, These are the horns which have scattered Judah, so that no man did lift up his head: but these are come to fray them, to cast out the horns of the Gentiles, which lifted up their horn over the land of Judah to scatter it.

Therefore, anyone that will rise and shine in life must first clear off any siege or limitation that may have been defined on his/her life by the forces of darkness. It’s time to break off every limits, siege and embargo placed upon your life (career, destiny, marriage, business, finances, health, etc). Set yourself up in prayers, add fasting where necessary, enforce your freedom and be determined to be free. If you’re really ready to be free, nothing will be strong enough to hold you back. It’s my prayer that your eyes be open to see how important this is.
