Little steps may appear insignificant when examined alone, but when compounded, you will be amazed how significant it can be. Your little efforts may not appear as though you’re making progress now, but as you keep at it, you will be amazed the progress you have made in less than a year or two. So, keep at it and don’t be discouraged.
Zechariah 4:10 NLT
[10] Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin, to see the plumb line in Zerubbabel’s hand.” (The seven lamps represent the eyes of the Lord that search all around the world.)
Someone who started with little steps and is consistence with it is better than someone who started very fast or very big but couldn’t sustain it. So, whether you start small or big, what matter most is that you take the first step and you keep at it.
While it is good to also watch and learn from others, don’t let their speed intimidate you. Understand yourself, your timing, and your assignment and focus on it because at the end of it all you will be assessed not based on the task and resources given to others but on the ones given to you.
So, don’t despise your little steps. Keep at it and you will be happy that you did.
