Whether we like it or not, some persons will choose wicked path and follow their own desires as it seems right to them irrespective of whether God or the Devil likes it. This category of people are not strange to God and He has already prepared their destruction. But those who will allow the actions of these wicked people to affect their own lives are to be pitied most.
Some persons will loose interest in God and in His word because of what other people are doing. Others will let down their guard on integrity, honesty, diligence and sanctity because it appeared those who are doing the opposite are faring better. Not realizing that God has prepared the punishment of ungodly and evil people for later time.
2 Peter 3:17 NLT
You already know these things, dear friends. So be on guard; then you will not be carried away by the errors of these wicked people and lose your own secure footing.
Don’t let the prosperity of godless people causes you to become a fraud; don’t be carried away by the glittering lifestyle of wicked people because all that glitters is not gold. Stick with God, stick with the truth and stay on the right path. And with time, it will be clear who the actual victor is.
You won’t fail in Jesus name.
