During national famine, all you need to enjoy abundance is a helper
Not everyone is experiencing lack and wants in a land of scarcity. Some persons, by divine direction and right placement, live in abundance even in a land where other persons are complaining bitterly.
Luke 4:25–26 NKJV says
[25] But I tell you truly, many widows were in Israel in the days of Elijah, when the heaven was shut up three years and six months, and there was a great famine throughout all the land; [26] but to none of them was Elijah sent except to Zarephath, in the region of Sidon, to a woman who was a widow.
From these scriptures, we see that it is possible to have all your needs met even in a land of scarcity. However, the following are what you need to do;
- Ask God to send you your own helper or sent man (Mathew 7:7-8). Helpers are God’s channels of blessing to those He choose to help Just as Elijah was sent to the widow. But one of the way to encounter your sent man is to ask God to send him or her to you. Why do you need to pray for it? Because some helpers won’t show up until somethings happens or until God commands them so. For instance, Elijah was comfortable, eating and drinking at the brook until it dried up (1Kings 17:2-9). Had the water of the brook kept flowing, Elijah would not have to leave the brook talk less of meeting the widow. So, when you pray, God knows how to direct you helper to you.
- Rightly position yourself: please understand it now that God ordained helper cannot meet you just anywhere. There is what you must be doing and where they can find you. God sent Elijah specifically to the region of Sidon, to a woman who was a widow, simple! If for any reason the woman had left that region, she would miss her helper. Many persons have missed their God ordained helper because they’re out of alignment with divine guidance and purpose and this has become their major reason for struggling.
So, through the help of a sent man, enjoying abundance in a land of scarcity is real, but one way to see it happen is to pray for it, and the second way it to ask yourself “am I at the right place doing the right thing?”.
