God can turn the wisdom of our enemies into foolishness, but He can also turn our own wisdom into foolishness if we turn against Him and become His enemy because He is not a partial God.
The major reason for the decadence of morality, dignity and honor in our society especially among the young ones and of course many adult is due to the truth that many have made themselves God’s enemy through their refusal to know Him and retain His knowledge in their hearts. You don’t have to curse God to become His enemy. Just refuse to do His will and you’ve already made yourself His enemy because you’re either working with Him or working against Him. You either obey Him or disobey Him. No middle ground!

Yes, they knew God, but they wouldn’t worship him as God or even give him thanks. And they began to think up foolish ideas of what God was like. As a result, their minds became dark and confused. Claiming to be wise, they instead became utter fools. Since they thought it foolish to acknowledge God, he abandoned them to their foolish thinking and let them do things that should never be done.
God allows the mind of His enemies to operate in darkness and confusion. They may claim to be wise, but their actions will reveal how foolish they’re. Those who take confidence in worshipping Idols, liars, thieves, prostitutes, womanizers, etc are all fools who claim to be wise.
Otherwise, how can one bow down to the thing made by his fellow man? Or how can one take pleasure in lying when it destroys one’s reputation? Or how can you think you can gather lasting wealth by defrauding others? Or how can you you think sexual immorality is enjoyment whereas it’s killing you more than you know it? It definitely take a foolish and darkened mind to think these ways.
Therefore, if you don’t want your mind darkened and your wisdom turn to foolishness, then don’t make yourself God’s enemy. Strive to know Him and to retain His knowledge in your heart by doing what He says and you will realize how sweet is it to be wise and how dangerous it is to be foolish. You will not be foolish.
