What we know, not who we are, are the primary determinants of our success or failure rates. So, to maximize your success rate, irrespective of who we are, we must strive to understand the scripture and the power of God.
In Mathew chapter 22, our Lord Jesus pointed out these deficiencies as the primary reason why the religious leaders of their time were mistaken even though they were religious leaders. So, it’s not about who we are, but what we know.
Matthew 22:29 NLT says
Jesus replied, “Your mistake is that you don’t know the Scriptures, and you don’t know the power of God.
How much of the scripture and the power of God that we know and understand will go a long way in determining the quality of live that we live on earth, the quality of our relationships, and our level of victory over the enemy. These knowledge will also impact on how we train our children, relate with our spouses, conduct ourselves and so on because the scripture has lots of wisdom on how to handle all these areas. Understanding of God’s power also make it easier for us to believe God, His word and make it easier to act in faith when prompted by the Holy Spirit.
Unfortunately, as it was in the days of Jesus, so it is in our days now. Many persons are void of the knowledge of the scriptures and the power of God, and hence the reason we make lots of mistakes. If you and I would avoid these mistakes and minimize errors in our lives therefore, we must also pursue the knowledge of scripture and the power of God.
None of us will fail or fall into error in Jesus name, amen!
