Lying reveals the fool in every liar. Refuse to live a lie

Most persons don’t understand why God commands us not to lie. They felt lying make them appear smarter. On the contrary, apart from the fact that lying is a sin, it also establishes the foolishness of the liar.

Acts 5:3 NKJV says 

But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back part of the price of the land for yourself?

When Ananias and Sapphira lied to Apostle Peter, they taught it was a wise thing to do, not realizing that it’s not. Unfortunately, that led to their death.

FEW HIDDEN TRUTH ABOUT LYING THAT MOST LIARS DON’T KNOW

1. Lying dent your image and integrity fast: When you tell a lie, you’re simply saying “don’t trust me“. You can’t lie in front of a person and expect him to trust you, never! A wise person knows if you could tell a lie about a person or a situation in their presence, then you could do the same to them too.
2. Lying makes you look like a coward: One of the reason why people tell a lie is fear. If you are not afraid of a person, then why lying to him or her? Unfortunately, chronic liars lie even to someone who really can’t do anything to them if they tell the truth. But because they’re used to lying, they just tell it at will.
3. When you tell a lie, it means you’re ASHAMED of yourself or of whatever incident that made you tell that lie. This may not be your intention, but it’s part of the interpretation. If you’re ashamed, why lying?

If you don’t want your integrity and image dented, if you don’t want to be perceived as a coward, and if you are not afraid, then don’t live a lie.
