Beyond the calendar, every times come with a sign and only those who listen and understand the sign of times will maximize their benefits. Many have missed their season in life because they couldn’t understand the sign of times.
The scripture in Ecclesiastes chapter 3 from verse one (1) to eight (8) reveals that there is time for every purpose under the sun. But how will you know the time for a purpose if you couldn’t understand the sign when the it comes. This was why in Mathew chapter 16 verse 3, Jesus rebuked the religious leaders because they could interprete weather but couldn’t understand the sign of times.
Matthew 16:3 NLT says
red sky in the morning means foul weather all day.’ You know how to interpret the weather signs in the sky, but you don’t know how to interpret the signs of the times!
There is a time when getting married is most honorable and enjoyable; there is a time when having children and raising them is more honorable and convenient; there is a time when staying in one job for long is better, whereas there is also a time when you need to leave to a bigger and better one; there is a time when you need to eat and drink to stay alive, and there is a time when you need to fast for your destiny, etc.
The danger is, if you miss the sign of a time and that time pass, only God can tell when the next window will be opened to you, if at all it will. This is why you have to stay spiritually alert and watchful over your life, destiny, calling and children so that you can pick the sign when the time comes and move into the next phase of your life.
May you and I not miss the sign of times for the next phase of our lives. May we be watchful and alert to catch it and maximize it in Jesus name, amen!
