Sometimes, choosing to fight alone is a risk you must take if you really want to move forward

Most people are very comfortable with the status quo, some because they are confused, some afraid and some because they just hate the hard work. To succeed in such a world of people therefore, you must learn to fight alone when necessary.

Sometimes you won’t get the support you desire may be because those from whom you expect it are either confused, afraid or weak to support you. Because of this, choosing to fight alone is a risk you must take at one point or the other if you truly believe in your vision and wish to see it fulfilled. It may not be easy or comfortable I must confess, but sometimes that may be the best option to take to move forward.

2 Timothy 4:1617 NLT says

[16] The first time I was brought before the judge, NO ONE CAME WITH ME. EVERYONE ABANDONED ME. May it not be counted against them. [17] BUT THE LORD STOOD WITH ME AND GAVE ME STRENGTH so that I might preach the Good News in its entirety for all the Gentiles to hear. And he rescued me from certain death.

Because you’re pursuing a good cause or a heavenly vision doesn’t mean everyone will support you at first, so get used to it. Sometimes it’s even the people you expect to believe you the most that will believe you the least, don’t count it against them, just move on. In the process, your will is being tested and soon enough, your persistence and consistence will encourage some persons to support you.

Choosing to fight alone was a risk all high achievers took at one point in their lives to success, e.g Jesus and apostle Paul (John 16:32; 2 Timothy 4:16-17). If you also want to succeed, then there will come a time when you must choose to fight alone.

You will succeed in Jesus name!
