There are some life’s battle that can be fought and won alone. But there are some that you undoubtedly need reinforcement to win. And any attempt to fight them alone will either prolong the battle or make you a victim eventually.
When Daniel was praying to God in Daniel chapter 10. The moment he started praying, an angel was sent to answer his prayers. But that angel didn’t get to Daniel until on the 22nd day. Why? Because a prince in darkness stopped him.
Daniel 10:12–13 NKJV says
[12] Then he said to me, “Do not fear, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand, and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard; and I have come because of your words. [13] BUT THE PRINCE OF THE KINGDOM OF PERSIA WITHSTOOD ME TWENTY-ONE DAYS; AND BEHOLD, MICHAEL, ONE OF THE CHIEF PRINCES, CAME TO HELP ME, FOR I HAD BEEN LEFT ALONE THERE WITH THE KINGS OF PERSIA.
Here, the angel, despite being a spirit, couldn’t progress on his mission until another angel came to help him. If an angel needed a reinforcement to deliver a message from God, don’t you think you, a mortal man, also needed reinforcement? Or do you think the powers of darkness will let you go like that because that vision or dream is from God?
What battle have you been fighting but seems unending? Are you already feeling weak, and discouraged from continuing? If yes, then it’s time to go for reinforcement either by asking someone to join you in prayers, or by backing up your prayers with fasting and asking God for spiritual empowerment, or by listening to spiritual messages and testimonies that will boost your faith. Whatever reinforcement you think you need to win, go for it!
